Princess Diana of was beloved as “The People’s Princess” for her warm and approachable public image. She was also a commoner until she married Prince Charles of Wales, the heir to the British throne. But after the birth of their two sons, William and Harry, infidelity tore the marriage apart. On August 31st, 1997 Princess Diana died in a car crash with her lover, the Egyptian billionaire Dodi Fayed. The cause of the crash and death of “The People’s Princess” is still a mystery.
